Additional learning support

Our Learning and Support Team works closely with classroom teachers, parents and carers, and other professionals to coordinate tailored planning, differentiation, and allocate resources that meet each student’s unique needs.

Hillside Public School teachers implement reasonable adjustments and differentiated teaching strategies within the classroom to accommodate individual learning styles and goals. Additional targeted support is provided by our Learning and Support Teachers, English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) Teacher, and School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) .

This support is delivered through in-class assistance, small group sessions, or one-on-one support, ensuring every student receives the help they need to succeed.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
